RESERVING GUIDES

General remarks

Only guides licensed by the Museum are authorized to serve visitors.

Visitors arriving in groups are required to engage a guide. This ensures efficient movement around the entire Museum grounds and full information about the museum, the buildings and their history, and the exhibitions.

It is possible at set times for individual visitors to assemble into a group and engage a guide (in Polish, English, German or Italian - see below).

Attention! As of April 1, 2008, groups of more than 10 persons will be required to hire headphones for the time of the visit. The additional fee for this service will be 4 PLN

In order for proper arrangements to be made, we ask you to give us at least two weeks' notice before your visit

Standard visits (Auschwitz & i Auschwitz II-Birkenau) - Individual tours with groups		39.00 PLN for a person
	General tours (up to three-and-a-half hours) English speaking individuals may join a standard Museum visit, accompanied by an English speaking guide under our program for individual tours with groups. Visits of this kind begin daily at 10.00, 11.00, 13.00, and 15.00 AM. In cases when groups of minimum 10 people gather additional tours may be organised. Individual tours with groups, for speakers of other languages (Polish, German, French or Italian) are organized in response to demand, on various days and at various times. Information is available at the Museum. PLEASE NOTE! Tickets for individual tours with groups are not subject to reservations. Shuttle bus will take visitors to Birkenau and back to Auschwitz The fee includes the visit, bus transfer and a 15-minute-long documentary

Film		3.50 PLN for adults
	Fifteen-minute documentary film about the first moments after the liberation of the camp PLEASE NOTE! Tickets for the screening of the documentary are not subject to reservations. The film is shown every 30 minutes The language version depends on the number of visitors present at any given time, and speaking a given language.
